We are a Catholic Aided Infant School for boys and girls in the 4 to 7 age range. We are affiliated to the Churches of St Mary and St John's, St David's and St Patrick's. Most of our children live locally. The Trust Deed of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Liverpool establishes the principles that govern the use of funds and property by the Archbishop and the Trustees.

The Role

St Mary’s Catholic Infant Academy wish to appoint an experienced, highly motivated, enthusiastic, energetic and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work in early years to support a child with special educational needs.​ This post is temporary, subject to funding. The successful candidate will work 32.5 hours per week, from 8:30am till 3:30pm. ​


St Mary’s Catholic Infants is a happy and vibrant workplace with pupils who are positive about their learning. It is essential that candidates have experience of working with children with SEN and can demonstrate excellent literacy and numeracy skills in order to help raise pupil attainment.​
